I'm fairly new to Rapid-Q and to a lesser extent to programming as well.

Anyway, on to my problem...

I have a QRICHEDIT on a form. It is there to display formatted text: verses from the New Testament one verse at a time.

I also have a text file. It contains, you may have guessed, the New Testament: one verse per line.

My program will search the file for the verse selected by the user in three ComboBoxes--but I digress.

My immediate problem is that I can't seem to get a single verse to display in the RichEdit. I can get the entire file in with:

MyRichEdit.LoadFromFile("MyTextFile.txt") but that's not what I want.

I'm sure there must be a way, and I'm sure that someone here knows how to do it.

Please help me.

QFileStream has ReadLine method:
